MEET THE CHEF: Tara Abrams
Chef Tara Abrams has been a respected member of South Florida’s culinary community since 1997. Much like her cooking, Tara started from scratch, training in some of South Florida’s most touted
kitchens including 32 East, Tap 42, OTC Brickell and multiple JEY Hospitality Group restaurants. During her five-year tenure with JEY Hospitality, Tara’s expertise and knowledge were applied towards menu
design, execution and opening several new restaurant concepts. Tara thrives under pressure, and has won several culinary competitions including the South Beach Wine; Food Festival’s Midnight Munchies
(2014), Thrillist BBQ Bash (2015), Bacon Bash (2016), South Beach Wine & Food Festival Clambake (2019), and Swank Farms events.
Hailing from Long Island, New York, Tara’s culinary inspiration came from watching her mom cook. Together, they loved to create dishes for their friends and family, gathering everyone around the table in their home. Tara has always abided by her personal mantra, which is “to always use the best quality
ingredients and put love into each stir.” At Crazy Uncle Mike’s, Tara will focus on an array of fresh, globally inspired and locally sourced seasonal dishes.

Michael is a current member of the Community Appearance Board (CAB) in Boca Raton and lives in this city with his wife and three daughters.
